Some Well Deserved Rest

After playing shows for the past couple of nights, Rebelution has the next couple of days off. I would like to take this time to reflect on how Jacob and I first started listening to Reb. Jacob had introduced me to the Winter 2007 and after hearing the opening chords of "Safe and Sound" I was hooked! Below you will see the video that started our dedication to Rebelution and our so-called obsession with reggae-rock music.

The College Run Continues

After the show on Sunday night in Lawrence, KS Rebelution kicked off a string of stops to college campuses west of the Mississippi. Last night, Reb stopped in one of the premiere midwest music stops in Madison, WI (which is home to the University of Wisconsin). Wes Finley's Write Up in Modern Drummer

Below is a very inspiring and uplifting piece by Rebelution's own drummer. There are many influential drummers touring right now such as Carter Beauford (Dave Matthews Band) and Travis Barker (Blink-182), but as the band has really made a name for themselves, Wes Finley is quickly becoming one of the most prominent reggae drummers around.
