Sorry for being behind in updating you guys about the shows, but midterms are truly a bitch, but all is well now. Tonight's show in West Chester has a local band named Three Legged Fox who is coming out with their sophomore album, "Not As Far" on March 17. Those of you at tonight's show are in for a sure treat.

New Album and Tour Update

Per Rebelution's Twitter: "We're currently on our way to Washington DC to spend the next three days mixing our new album"

How exciting! This is great news for all Rebelution fans as hopefully we will get the album by this summer if all works out well. There is still information such as album artwork, track listing and of course a release date. I think as fans we can all be patient because we know this album will be well worth it.

Yes, I know that the picture above is completely random and that this post might be a day late, but let me tell you it quite hard sometimes to find pictures of small venues. As Rebelution's tour winds down they are playing some of the most unique venues in the Northeast. This is a great opportunity for the band to really expand their music nationally and I'm sure that they are playing some great shows.

While it might seem like an apartment building or some old abonded warehouse, the view above is tonight's venue. It has been billed the best live music venue in all of Rochester. See picture below as this place seems awesome!

New Tour Dates

You've heard it here first that Rebelution will be touring with Slightly Stoopid after their tour with Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad. The tour will begin on March 19th at the Pageant in St. Louis, MO and will end on April 4th in Austin, TX at the world famous Stubb's BBQ venue.

If Rebelution didn't get to your town during the winter/spring tour, no worries they will be touring for quite a while and will hopefully hit up a town near you.

New Demos Posted on Reb's Myspace

A much needed break for the band tonight, but there is never a dull moment for Rebelution fans. Last night, Rebelution posted demos from their recent studio recording of "Outta Control" and "Bright Side of Life" on their myspace.

Check it out!

These clips give us fans a glimpse into what we can expect when the new album drops. This very exciting and hopefully we will be able to hear more demos soon!

Through the narrow streets of NOLA, you can see from above that tonight's show is at the House of Blues. Jake and I would like to apologize for the lack of content from the most recent of shows. This could be due that Rebelution is playing outside of their base, but if you think about it, this is an amazing opportunity for the band as they are playing for bigger crowds and for newer crowds. Jake and I have a few ideas to do during off days, so look for some new things in the next couple of weeks.

All I can say is that the state of Texas is huge! They almost rival California for the number of shows played with State Radio during this tour. Tonight's show at Numbers seems to be a very small venue, so hopefully the boys are able to rock out and keep making new fans.

01/31/09 Fox Theatre- Boulder, CO (SOLD OUT!)

Jake and I were able to interview the band today! Check back in the next couple of days for that. The band was extremely friendly and very receptive towards our questions. Also thanks to the fans that sent in questions for the band to ask.

We apologize for this post coming late, but we had to drive back to Kansas/St. Louis yesterday and were unable to update the blog. Just a quick recap of the last two nights: Both shows the band was very energetic and by the end of the second night seemed as though most of the fans in attendance knew the words to the songs from "Courage to Grow". It was an overall great and personal experience. Also, make sure you stay and watch State Radio, they were sick and their show is very powerful.
